MooCam Troubleshooting

If you still cannot see the feed after a couple minutes, there are a few things that could be happening.

If nothing seems to happen at all, or you get a red "x" or gray box, one or more of the following may be occurring:

1. The cam may be turned off temporarily for a number of reasons. Sorry, not much you can do about this one until I turn it back on. I try to remember to put up the "off" sign if it's going to be offline for more than a few minutes.


2. Java and/or JavaScript may not be enabled for your browser. See your browser's help pages to learn how to correct this.

If you get a message that says "Loading...Please Wait..." but it still hasn't loaded after several minutes, something might be messed up with your browser's cache. Try one of the following corrections:

1. If you are on the Java Applet cam page, right click on the image and select "Restart" to restart the applet.


2. Click on your browsers Refresh/Reload button while holding down the SHIFT button on your keyboard. This will force your browser to disregard what is in cache and reload all elements of the page.


3. Close and restart your web browser and try the cam again. A little time consuming, but sometimes this is all that will help. Be sure to bookmark the page before closing so it will be easy to return!
