For anyone who is interested, I finally got my new Panasonic pan and tilt wireless (WOOT!) webcam, which Mr Moo bought me for Christmas, up and running the other day.

Portland forecast --

Today: Snow in the morning...then snow showers likely in the afternoon. Snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Highs in the low 30s. East wind 10 to 20 mph...with gusts to 35 mph near the gorge. Wind becoming light in the afternoon...except east wind 5 to 10 mph near the gorge.

And snow it did! I think we got very close to 4" of the stuff. It was awesome.

The new cam was on non-stop for days when I first set it up. Did you have a problem with it back then?
