I didn't receive any "Missed my connection in Germany. I'm stuck here until next week." emails, so it would appear Mr Moo is jetting his way back to the US as I type. His plane will be landing in approximately 7.5 hours. I should probably get some sleep before too long so I don't end up more of a cranky pants than he will be with his jet lag.
