I was awoken this morning by the sound of what I thought was air brakes on a large truck driving by. However, I heard it several more times after that, then it suddenly stopped before I could determine the exact source of the noise. Unless there was an invisible parade of large trucks with air brakes driving by my house, I'm beginning to think there was a woodpecker having a grand ol' time on my roof somewhere.
