The sewer dudes were in our neighborhood a few days ago.
I thought they were somehow sucking leaves and other crud out of the drains, but the hose they were using wasn't anywhere near large enough for that. When they retracted it all the way, there was a large metal nozzle type thing at the end that was dripping water. I guess it was some sort of high pressure hose that blasts all the debris away. Whatever they were doing, I kept waiting for a giant alligator or the tapeworm man from X-Files to jump out and get one of them, but, alas, I was not to be thusly entertained this day.
It is a sewer jetter with high pressure water thats shoots everything out of the way.

Yeah, I got that once I saw the nozzle come out of the sewer. What a job that must be!
