TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast & I Want That Body - Arms, Program 1 I somehow managed to talk Mr Moo into working out with me again today. However, based on the amount of grumpiness that was oozing out of every pore on his body, I'm not sure he ever will again. He really dislikes aerobics and does not enjoy this workout one bit, but he does it to make me happy. Unfortunately, I know how much he dislikes it, which makes me feel awful for even asking. Tomorrow is weigh-in day, fishies. Wish me luck! |
We finally figured out who has been triggering the motion detector on our patio light at night. |

TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast & I Want That Body - Arms, Program 1 My head felt a lot better today so I sucked it up and worked out. Go, me. |
I was going to write a long post about how crappy the past few weeks (heck, months) have been for me, but, you know what? Screw it. No one wants to read about how miserable I am, least of all me. I'll get through this, like I always do, and I'll be fine. In the meantime, have a kitty pic. |
I started to work out today, but had to quit less than half of the way through. I've had a dull throbbing headache most of the day and it got exponentially worse once I started jumping around. Fearing it could be the beginnings of a migraine (the ibuprofen I took earlier has done nothing, which is a big warning sign), I figured I'd better play it safe and stop. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast & I Want That Body - Arms, Program 1 I almost talked myself out of working out today because I've got a bit of a tummy ache, but I'm glad I didn't, especially since I didn't work out yesterday. I've got to keep at it if I'm ever going to get past this plateau. |
From Martha Stewart Living: Boil A Perfect Egg Despite its name, a boiled egg shouldn't be boiled (which will yield rubbery results) but rather immediately removed from the heat once the cooking water comes to a boil. Place eggs in a saucepan large enough to accommodate them in a single layer. Fill pan with cold water, covering eggs by 1 inch. Bring water to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn off heat, cover, and let stand 90 seconds to 2 minutes for soft-boiled eggs, 1 minute 45 seconds to 2 minutes 15 seconds for medium-boiled, and 11 to 12 minutes for hard-boiled. Once the hard-boiled eggs are cooked, transfer them to a bowl of ice water (this will prevent discoloration and facilitate peeling); let stand 2 minutes, then crack by gently pressing eggs against a hard surface. Peel under cold running water. |
Here in the NW, it's that time of the year again, kids - allergy season. I could put out a fire with the amount of liquid coming out of my nose at the moment. Due to the vast number of evergreen trees here in Oregon and the fact that all of the other flowering trees are in bloom right now, the tree pollen counts are through the roof. It also doesn't help that I stirred up a ton of dust this weekend while doing my inventory. I need to make myself some sort of harness/holster so I can carry a box of tissues around with me wherever I go. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Weight Loss Last week's weight loss: 1 pound. With a previous gain and a no change week, this puts me right back to where I was three weeks ago. To say I'm frustrated with this whole plateauing thing would be a major understatement. I know I'm not going to lose twenty pounds in a single week or anything crazy like that, but it would be really nice if I could break through this barrier finally. On a brighter note, I've been working out frequently and for long enough now that I'm starting to notice a real difference. My stamina is much higher and I've noticed a definite increase in my strength. The ab workouts aren't kicking my butt quite as bad as they used to and I'm now using three pound weights for all of my workouts. I'm no Arnold Schwarzenegger, by any means, but it's a vast improvement compared to where I was a couple months ago. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast & I Want That Body - Arms, Program 1 Mr Moo exercised with me today. He moved his truck and we worked out in the garage since that's the only place with a hard floor and enough space for both of us. He's not a huge fan of aerobics, but he did it for me. He's such a good sport. Tomorrow is weigh-in day. I'm PMS'ing and bloating something awful right now. I'm not expecting good numbers. |
The game plan for today is to get my inventory done and gather paperwork for our tax preparer finally. I can't figure out how it got to be the end of March already. I'm still having trouble figuring out what happened to February and this month will be gone before I know it, too. Sigh. |
I had a really nice time with my MIL today. We went to lunch at a salad buffet place and, fortunately, I was able to keep myself under control, even with a soft serve ice cream machine less than 20 feet away from me. I did have a bowl of clam chowder (I'm weak I tell you!), but I made sure to only have one cup, which is 330 calories. Not the end of the world. Aside from the soup, all I had was a lettuce salad with fat-free dressing and a glass of water. No pasta. No bread. No dessert. I went into the lion's den and lived. Yay! We visited a few stores and did some shopping after we ate. Our last stop was a plant nursery. They didn't have a whole lot of selection because it's a little early still, but I was able to talk to someone a bit about doing some landscaping in our yard. Sounds like they are very flexible and would be willing to do just about anything we needed/wanted. I may get the pond and yard I want yet. After a chat with my dad and a quick trip to the grocery store, Mr Moo and I had a nice dinner followed by a nap with the kitties. All in all, it's been a really great start to the weekend. |
My mother-in-law is taking me out this afternoon as a belated thank you for helping her with her garage sale last summer. I told her it wasn't necessary, but she's insisted and I figured it would do me some good to get out of this house for a while. The tentative plan is lunch out followed by some shopping, but nothing is set in stone at this point. I haven't eaten one single meal out since starting my current meal plan and I don't know how well I can resist the temptations that will surround me. I'm especially nervous since it's a Lenten Friday and you know every place will be serving clam chowder, my own personal kryptonite. Guess I better finish getting ready before she gets here. Later, peeps! |
Ain't it great when clients ignore the discount you've given them and pay you full price? It is teh aw3s0me. My client tried on her dress one more time while she was here and all she could say was, "Wow." I'm not sure whether to take it as a compliment or an insult when clients do that. On the one hand, I'm always happy and proud when a client is pleased with my work. On the other hand, do they have to be quite so shocked that I did a good job? Were they expecting me to hand them back a garment that looks like crap? |

TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast Compared to the frenetic pace of the 10 Minute Solutions workout, today's workout with Tamilee Webb was almost relaxing. I will probably continue to use the Tighter Assets DVDs as my primary workouts, but it will be nice to have the option to change things up a bit with the 10MS disc once in a while. It's all about the variety. |
Not much on the agenda today besides work, work and more work. It's pretty much been the same thing every day here for the past thousand years or so. Thus, the lack of posts about anything even remotely interesting lately. I spoke with my dad yesterday. He met with the surgeon on Monday and was told they are going to postpone operating until my dad loses more weight. Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my dad is morbidly obese and has been for most of his adult life. He recently paricipated in a weight loss challenge with a co-worker and lost 40 pounds, which is fantastic, but he's still very overweight and the doctor wants him to lose at least another 50 before they will consider doing his hip replacement. My dad's always been been in a bit of denial about his weight because he's always been, as he says, "in perfect health aside from needing to lose some weight" - his EKG doesn't show any problems, his blood pressure is low, his cholesterol and other test results are all in normal ranges. I've tried to explain to him that, regardless of the test results, carrying around 200+ extra pounds is far from "perfect health". He's a walking time bomb for a heart attack, no matter what his EKG says, his asthma is out of control, his back is in such bad shape it's irreparable and now he needs hip replacement. That is far from perfect. I'm hoping this postponement will be the wake up call that he needs to really get serious about losing some more weight. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: 10 Minute Solution - Carb Burner (Programs 4,5,1) I did the remaining two programs and repeated the first one today. Interval Burn is boot camp-inspired exercises including some mat work. I couldn't do all of the exercises because my core isn't strong enough yet and I'm still carrying a lot of extra weight in my legs, which makes them very berry difficult. It was a good workout though and I will keep at it until I can do all of it. Program 5, Metabolism Booster, on the other hand, was awful. I was excited to see it uses weights, but the movements were so rapid and the postures so sloppy, I think it was very dangerous in parts. I understand that she only has 10 minutes to get through the entire routine, but that's not an excuse to sacrifice good form and safety. I'll stick with Tamilee Webb for my weight training from now on. Yesterday was weigh-in day. Last week's weight loss: zero, zip, nada. Sigh. At least it wasn't a gain. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: 10 Minute Solution - Carb Burner (Programs 1,2,3) This is a new workout DVD that I'm renting from Netflix. Netflix has many workout DVDs available for rent. It's great to be able to try before you buy. It's very frustrating to fork over a bunch of cash to purchase a new DVD only to discover it's not what you were expecting or, worse yet, it just plain stinks. This DVD is made up of five 10 minute workouts. The menu allows you to pick and choose how many and which of the sections you wish to do, which makes it very easy to put a workout together whether you have only 10 or a full 50 minutes of time available. I also like the fact that you can change things up so you aren't stuck doing the same exact workout day after day, which can get really boring really fast. Since this was my first time through, I just started at the beginning and let it play. One thing I don't like about it is, since each 10 minute section is considered a complete stand alone workout, the instructor doesn't waste a single second of time. The movements are very rapid, there is very little warm-up or cool down, and the few stretches she does include aren't held long enough because she's in such a hurry to get on to the next thing. Someone could easily hurt themselves if they weren't careful. I wouldn't recommend this one for a beginner. |
"NAME THAT MOVIE" CONTEST - 090 It's been a while since I posted one of these. I would remember it when I was out and about, but it seems like every time, by the time I got home and back in my office, I would have forgotten again. Feel free to holler at me about it if I forget again in the future. |
My mouth is a mess right now. The roof of my mouth is incredibly swollen and sore. I thought it was because I accidentally stabbed it with a fork during dinner the other night (I got myself so bad I was bleeding), but it was hurting even before then. It's like a really bad case of cereal mouth - when the inside of your mouth gets cut up from eating too much crunchy cereal - except I haven't had any cereal. The swelling has gotten so bad that I can't even put my retainers in without crying. It's swollen up like this before when I've cut the roof of my mouth or had a sore. I just have to wait until the swelling goes down to put my retainers back on and hope my teeth don't get too crooked in the meantime. The other things that are just making my day are the two big canker sores on the gum of my lower jaw and the sore spot on my lip that I thought was just a really dry cracked spot, but is making me start to wonder if it's the beginnings of a cold sore or giant zit. Needless to day, it's all making me just a wee bit cranky. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Weight Loss It's been 10 days since I last did this workout and I can tell. I really like the interval training (mix of cardio and weights) on this DVD. However, the ab workout is misery. Fortunately, it's not too long and it ends just as I'm about to quit/die. Time to shower while Mr Moo is out mowing the lawn, then we're off to the grocery store to see if we can find a piece of fish for dinner. |
It's Supper Time! |
I spoke with my father this afternoon. Looks like he's going to be having hip replacement surgery before too long. Without going into too many details, he's been in a lot of pain lately related to his back and hips. They've tried a few treatment options, some more successful than others, but none of them have given great results. There was talk of him having surgery on his back, but they've decided against that and now believe the hip replacement will be the best thing for him. I'm considering flying home when he has the operation to help my mother out a bit while he recovers. That is, of course, assuming I can find a reasonably priced airfare. Nothing is even scheduled yet, so we'll have to wait and see how things work out. He's meeting with the surgeon on Monday and I'll know more after that. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast I didn't realize how disruptive having a dog in the house could be. I stopped working out, had a couple bad eating days and wasn't sleeping well. As much as I miss Daisy, it's nice to be back into my old routine again. Let's hope I can continue sleeping as well as I did last night. |
From Monday, a photo of everyone tolerating each other in the kitchen. Apparently, waiting to be fed is a great equalizer in the animal kingdom. |
You know your insomnia is raging pretty bad when you're too tired to even piss and moan about it. I brought Miss Daisy home this morning. It was tough leaving her in their garage and walking away because she kept giving me those sad "Hey, where are you going? Are you leaving me?" puppy dog eyes. We've been together almost constantly for the past five days, so I think it will take both of us a few days to get back into our old routines. While I was sad to see her go, I think the cats are planning to have a party tonight. There has been a mighty lot of sniffing, rolling and space reclaiming in the doggy areas going on. That will all stop once I get the vacuum cleaner out though. |
Today is our last full day with Daisy the Dog. Her owners will be back tomorrow morning. While it will be nice to not have to worry about walking her four times per day, I will miss the mutt. It's been fun having her here. She's one of those dogs who just loves to be near you (once she gets to know you, that is) and she's got loads of personality. Fortunately, she's only going next door, so I can always go over for a visit or a walk. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast My weight loss for this week: +1 pound. ARGH!!! How frustrating. I spent the entire week down a pound from last weekend's weigh-in weight only to have it shoot up over the past couple days. And, it's not because I haven't been eating well. I'm certain it's water weight because my leg is feeling super puffy today and I had jarred spaghetti sauce (hugely salty) with dinner last night. I'll have to remember in the future to not have anything salty the night before weigh-in day. |
We let the dog stay in the house again last night and, fortunately, it was without incident. I think the pee accidents yesterday were just a result of her getting over-excited when my client came over. Just to be safe, I took her out for an additional quick potty break before I went to bed around 0400. Or was it 0500? I'm still not sure what time it is. |
Had a few "issues" with the dog today. To say she went ballistic when my client came over is putting it mildly. Daisy is incredibly timid when we meet new people outside while on walks. When they come into the house, however, it's a totally different ball game. She would not stop barking and even started to growl. I did my best to get her to calm down, but I finally just had to put her in the garage. My client said she's a total animal person and has never met a dog that didn't like her. I felt so bad. I will have to ask my neighbors about this behavior once they get back. The second thing she did to make us insane today was jumping on the couch. More than once, too. No creatures (well, aside from Mr Moo) are allowed on the furniture in the Moo house. Daisy jumped up like it was the most normal thing in the world, so they must be letting her on the couch next door. This isn't the dog's fault one bit because she doesn't know the rules in our house. We'll just have to make sure to gate her up when we aren't downstairs to supervise her. Not a big deal really. Issue #3 is the biggest of them all. Daisy has had two accidents inside the house even though we've been walking her four plus times a day. The first one happened when my client came over. I think she got herself so worked up that she peed herself and probably didn't even know it. Mr Moo then found another wet spot by the front door about an hour ago. Not sure what caused that one since it hadn't been all that long since the last time we took her out. Needless to say, Mr Moo is not pleased and is understandably hesitant to let her in the house anymore. She's gated up downstairs right now. I think we'll see how she does for the next few hours before making a decision as to where she's going to sleep tonight. |
Not much planned for today besides work and watching the dog some more. I have a client dropping off some alterations at 1700, but that should only take a few minutes since it's just some skirts that need to be hemmed. I'm hoping to find some time before it gets dark to take Daisy for a really long walk today. We both could use the exercise. Aside from that, I should be chained to my sewing machine. |
Today, I moved the tables around in the "doggy room" a bit. Daisy now has run of the entire front room as well as the foyer by the front door (we let her roam the entire downstairs when we're down there, too). For whatever reason, this little bit of extra space has made a big difference. She hasn't been nearly as whiny and wanting out like she was yesterday. Hopefully, she'll be good enough that we can leave her inside tonight. The cats are getting more accustomed to having Daisy in the house. Zoe walked up and gave the dog a kitty kiss (touched noses) tonight and more than once! We're still in shock from the whole thing. I don't think they'll all be sleeping together anytime soon, but even small progress is still progress. We had a bit of a scare with Zoe last night. We found a considerable amount of blood in her urine. She peed out the door of the litterbox like she does and it pooled in the tray we keep in front of the box just for this reason. Since the tray is white, it was a bit hard to miss. I called the vet today and did my best to conceal my panic. They used a needle to extra the urine from her bladder for tests yesterday and it's not uncommon for there to be some residual bleeding. I was told that it may continue for a few more days yet, but it's nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't get any worse. Unless she pees in the tray again, I'm not sure how we'll know if it's getting better or not, but we'll see what happens. Time for me to do some work. Later, peeps. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast I was scheduled to do the Weight Loss DVD, which alternates between cardio and weight training, today, but my arm is so sore from Daisy yanking on it yesterday I decided to give my poor muscles a bit of a rest and do a cardio only workout. Speaking of Daisy, she continues to get better walking on the leash every time I take her out. She's still having a bit of trouble understanding that she needs to walk next to me, not ahead of me, but we'll keep working on that. I've pretty much eliminated her yanking and charging ahead at least, which is major progress. |
Today's mission (and we have chosen to accept it) is to obtain some decent chew toys for Daisy, The Destructor. She's been going to town on the pillow we gave her and chewed a hole in it already. It's just a matter of time before there's pillow stuffing all over the front room. Time to find a more appropriate outlet for her chewing. I shall away to the store after I've taken her for a walk (please, rain, hold off for a little while longer) and see what I can come up with. I might even stop by the grocery store and pick her up a bone. EDIT: Yahoo for rawhide chewsticks!!! |
Hi! My name is Daisy! |
I'm too tired to do a thorough write up of everything that's happened today, so I'll do a bunch of quick paragraphs. Dog-sitting is going well. Daisy overall is a very good dog. She's quite timid so she hasn't caused any major problems, but she's a bit high strung and needy, which gets frustrating after a while. You could play with her all day long and it wouldn't be enough. I did play with her a lot today, but, tomorrow, I must get some work done. I took her for a couple long walks today. The first time, she was completely out of control and tugging on the leash so hard that my arm hurt later. The second time out, I worked on "Heel" and "Come" quite a bit and it made a huge difference. The third time I took her out, Mr Moo came along and even he was impressed how well she was doing. She may be high strung, but she's not stupid. Cats are coping WAY better than I ever thought they would. Since Daisy is so timid, it took the cats all of about five seconds to dominate her. Daisy now makes sure to walk around the cats and never gets too close to them. The cats totally stare her down and makes sure she knows when she's getting too close (with hissing). I thought for sure Zoe would spend the entire time upstairs hiding since she's so skittish, but she's been right downstairs with all of us and has even approached the dog on her own. Color me pleased. Speaking of Zoe, she spent all day at the vet's office today having more tests done. The vet called me in the afternoon with some relatively good news. The antibiotics worked and her infection is completely gone. I'm still not 100% sure where it was (kidneys? bladder?), I'm just thrilled that it's cleared up. The existing damage to her kidneys (they're only about half the size they should be) is irreversible and there is little doubt that she will eventually die of kidney failure, but the vet is confident that will not happen for a long while yet, assuming we stay on top of things. We're going to try a kidney-friendly diet change first. Kitties will now be eating a special prescription cat food ($27 for a 10 pound bag - ACK!) and I have to bring her in again in 3 months to see if it's working. Her condition will not improve. We're just looking to maintain at this point. If she's any worse at all in three months, we'll then start her on meds. The vet had one more bit of news that I thought was fantastic. Zoe has gained a tenth of a pound! To most, that doesn't sound like much, but for Zoe to gain that much in only three weeks is wonderful news. Heck, Zoe gaining any weight at all is great news. Looks like the egg yolk thing is working. We not only will continue to give her yolks (boiled, of course), the vet okayed us to give her up to two per day, if she's willing to eat them. Go, Zoe, go! We'll get you fattened up yet. Back to Daisy... Can someone tell me why female dogs hump things? We gave her an old pillow to sleep on/play with. Seems like every time I checked on her, she had balled it up and was humping away on it. She's a girl! Why is she doing this? We decided to let Daisy spend the night in the house, but only if she was gated up in the front room downstairs. Unfortunately, the minute I turned the light out and walked away, she began whining incessantly. It only got worse everytime she heard me moving around here upstairs. Since Mr Moo has to get up early for work in the morning, I had to put her out in the garage for the night. I moved the camera in there (yay for the wireless webcam!) so I can check on her still without actually going out there. She's finally calmed down and looks to be sleeping at the moment. Let's hope she stays that way for a while and doesn't start barking too early in the morning. Righto. It's been a long day of walks, training and playing for me. Think I'll make like the dog and get some sleep. Goodnight, fishies! |
Doggy Cam is up and running. EDIT: Gave up on the chairs (she figured out she could jump over them) and decided not to wait for Mr Moo to get home. I nearly broke my back getting them in there, but I moved a couple banquet tables into place. She won't be getting out of that room now. |
Today begins the dog days of not exactly summer here at the Moo House. We will be taking care of our neighbors' dog until Tuesday. We've decided to bring her over here and introduce her to the kitties to see how well, if at all, they get along. Assuming things go well, we plan to gate the stairs and allow her to stay in the house downstairs. If we can't all seem to make nice, Miss Daisy will be spending a great deal of time out in the garage. And, no, we won't be driving her anywhere. Har har har. Mr Moo will be going next door to let her out for a quick wee before he leaves for work. I will let her out again once I get up then bring her over here afterwards. Cross your fingers that the introductions go well. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast The toast seems to have helped. I didn't feel great, but the stomach cramps subsided enough that I felt okay enough to work out. I'm glad I did. I think getting up and moving around helped more than the toast did. I don't think I could have done an ab workout today (not without hurling anyway), but, fortunately, this DVD doesn't have one. |
I've been changed and ready to work out for a while now. Unfortunately, I have an awful stomach ache at the moment. Figures. I just had a piece of toast to see if that will help calm my gurgling tummy down. I don't want to be jumping around doing aerobics with my stomach feeling like it does. Here's to toast, the great panacea. |
By request, a photo of tonight's dinner: |
My next door neighbor just stopped by. His grandmother in California died. He's leaving for the funeral on Thursday and, since everyone else in the family is already gone, he needs someone to look after their dog for a few days. I asked if he would mind if we brought her over here and he didn't have a problem with it. I'm not sure if we will or not, but I think it would be fun having a dog in the house for a few days. I guess we'll have to see how Josie and Zoe react first before we make a final decision. |
My dear friend, Rory, works security at a hotel in his hometown. They recently had a very special guest. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast & I Want That Body - Arms, Program 1 Even though my Weight Loss workout video has an arm component, it's too short and not nearly targeted enough for me. Since my arms have been feeling neglected lately (my legs and butt have gotten more than their share of a workout), I decided to double up today. I did the Cardio Blast video for the aerobics and followed it up with the arms specific workout. I also used 3 pound weights today for the first time. I have no doubt my arms will be so sore tomorrow that I will have trouble brushing my teeth and dressing myself, but it needs to be done. The aerobics are great for burning calories, but, if you don't do some work with weights, especially for the upper body, you'll still be flabby in the end. Can't be having that! Today was weigh-in day. I weighed myself right after I worked out and before I got into the shower, as per usual. This past week's weight loss: 2 pounds! Yay! And, just to give you an idea how messed up our scale is... Right after I weighed myself, I tied my hair up then decided to weigh myself one more time for the heck of it. Second time around, the scale showed one pound less than it did 30 seconds earlier. It's so inconsistent. I still wrote down the first weight though. |
I allowed myself a day of rest yesterday since I was so stinking tired and I had already gotten five workouts in earlier in the week. Back to the grind today though. Today is weigh-in day. I will weigh myself once I've cleaned up the house a bit (to get warmed up) and worked out. At the rate I'm moving, however, it may be a while. The only other major thing on the agenda for today is grocery shopping. Mr Moo and I worked out a rough menu plan for the week last night and we need to pick up a few things. It will be kind of difficult to make shrimp scampi for dinner tonight with no shrimp. |
I went back to bed and finally fell asleep sometime around 0700 this morning. Ugh. I had a client coming at noon today and had asked Mr Moo to wake me up around 1130 so I could have time to at least brush my teeth and throw on some clothes and deodorant. I'll give you three guesses what woke me up today. Yeah, the sound of the doorbell. Gah! Fortunately, she's been a regular customer of mine for a while and she knows of my battles with insomnia. She wasn't bothered at all by the fact that I had literally just rolled out of bed and had my robe on. Thank goodness for understanding clients. She was only supposed to be picking up an alteration, but she brought a pair of her son's shorts that needed a quick repair (Why? WHY do manufacturer's continue to use chain stitching in young boys sports uniforms?!? Are they mad?). Rather than have her come all the way back here again to pick them up later, I told her, if she was willing, I would fix them while she waited. She came upstairs to see my sewing studio while I worked. |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Weight Loss And, today's valuable lesson, kids: Do not eat too close to your workout time. Unless, of course, you want to a)feel like you're at death's door, b)throw up, or c)some combination of the two. |
To get your weekend started right, I give you kitty cuteness! |
TODAY'S WORKOUT: Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast Not much to say today. I'm still working out (almost) daily. Trying to get in at least 5 of these cardio workouts per week. Today is number four for this week. If I do number five tomorrow, I might give myself a break and do yoga on Saturday instead. It will make for a nice change of pace. |
From this year's Chick-fil-A calendar, The Good, The Bad and The Hairy: |

TODAY'S WORKOUT: Crunch - Total Resculpt

I've been up all night working on an alteration for a client who is picking up today at 1330. In the past 12 hours, I've had five cans of Mt Dew. The world has been moving in slow motion and I have been walking around humming, "Hmm hmm hmm. I. Like. The. Cookie."
