Ain't it great when clients ignore the discount you've given them and pay you full price? It is teh aw3s0me. My client tried on her dress one more time while she was here and all she could say was, "Wow." I'm not sure whether to take it as a compliment or an insult when clients do that. On the one hand, I'm always happy and proud when a client is pleased with my work. On the other hand, do they have to be quite so shocked that I did a good job? Were they expecting me to hand them back a garment that looks like crap? |
Maybe the "Wow" was a result of how well they thought they looked as a result of your great work. |

But thats the thing, there are typically only a handfull of times a woman has a piece of clothing altered. Prom, Wedding, etc. Most seamstresses that work for a shop make a dress wearable but it's a real art to make a dress that didn't fit, fit well. Take it as a compliment!!! You earned it!
