TODAY'S WORKOUT: Gilad Janklowicz's Arms of Steel I worked out hard today. Instead of using my usual girly weight of three pounds, I used half the amount of weight Gilad was using. Actually, I think it would be more accurate to say I attempted to use half. I was doing fairly well until he started using 15 and 20 pounds for certain exercises. For starters, we don't even own 10 lb dumbells. When I tried to use our heaviest weight (8 lbs), I found I couldn't maintain good form, which is never a good thing. In the end, there were a few exercises where I had to reduce the amount of weight to about a third instead of half, but I was able to use up to 7 lbs for some of those, which is definitely progress. Yesterday was weigh-in day. Last week's weight loss: +1 lbs. Ugh. I thought last week's loss of 4lbs was excessive. I'm going to chalk this up to my body balancing itself out and try not to get completely discouraged. Almost there! Your doing great Moo.. .I love working out to Gilad... he does a super workout. I get a channel on TV called Fit TV and he is on there lots. I tape his shows so I can do them over and over as I feel I need.
