Yesterday, I spent a good portion of the afternoon in the yard doing some clean-up. All of the plants out front needed some serious deadheading and pruning.

It doesn't look a whole lot different, but it was quite a bit of work and, after also doing the other larger flower bed (not pictured), I have a nearly full yard debris can to prove it. Before anyone asks, yes, cutting almost all of the flowers off the marigold plants is actually good for them. Assuming we don't get a hard frost, they'll flower again just as much, if not more, than before.
