Happy Halloween, fishies. Did everyone watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! on CBS last night? It's not quite noon yet, but, so far, today has been a good day. The Prednisone (steroids) that Zoe is taking seems to be helping a lot. She's been up and about quite a bit today, which delights me to no end. Mr Moo and I joked this morning that she's been faking this whole thing just so we'd pamper and pay extra attention to her. Oh, if only that were true. Unfortunately, kitties don't fake seizures and we know it's just a matter of time before she crashes again. We have no doubt she's burned up eight of her nine lives by now. In the meantime, we'll enjoy every second of this revival and try not to think about what lies ahead. In other non-Zoe news (is there such a thing anymore?), I was supposed to begin physical therapy for the edema in my leg on Monday. I was thinking about canceling when the PT office called me instead. My therapist was out sick and they were going to re-schedule me with someone else. I told them not to bother since it wasn't a good day anyway. I was planning to go as scheduled yesterday, but the same thing happened. Since my therapist doesn't work Wednesdays, today's appointment has gone out the window as well. I'm scheduled to go tomorrow at 1:00, but we'll see what happens with that. I seriously considered putting the entire thing off for a couple weeks. However, that would put me in the middle of Thanksgiving preparations with my leg wrapped. Probably not the best idea. If my therapist continues to cancel and we can't even get started until the middle of next week, I may just put the whole thing off completely until after Thanksgiving is over. |
