I attempted to watch this DVD from Netflix this afternoon:

Attempted being the key word in that sentence. It claimed to be loading for what seemed like a year. I finally popped it out and turned it over to see if it was scratched. Imagine my surprise when I saw this:

It was cracked all the way through! Needless to say, I requested a replacement, which should be here in a couple days.

Image with crack makes for a great photo, however! You could sell it to those stock image websites, like Getty.

I too belong to Netflix, love them. Use to pay almost $60.00 a month for Direct TV (hated it, all paid commercials when I was able to watch TV, late at night). Now I pay $18.59 a month and have been very happy with them. (do not miss finding nothing good to watch on TV anymore)

I too had a disk with a good scratch in it. I have to say, Netflix did send a replacement asap too. Have had no issues with them. (you have to realize, they probably get disc's back and don't notice the cracks untill peeps like us report a problem with the disc.

SANDY:
Technically, it's not even a photo I took. I just put it on the scanner. Glad you liked it though.

KNIKKEE:
We've been with Netflix for a couple years now and have received a few cracked disks during that time. They've always been very prompt about sending a replacement as soon as I reported the problem. It's my understanding that the disks are never even taken out of the small white envelopes when they are returned to the warehouse, so, yes, they wouldn't know unless we report it.
