Tonight I finished up a set of pillows for a client.
I used a new technique I recently learned - Turkish corners. You can see it best on the all stripe rectangular pillows. I used the technique on all of the non-round pillows, but it's a bit difficult to see on the ones with the black backing fabric. It's a method of folding and stitching the covers to eliminate pointy empty corners. It also makes it much easier to attach the cording. The pillows look a little more like cushions, but I think my client will still be pleased with them.
Lucky client. They are very, very nice.
