We applied the last dose of Josie's medicine today. Her treatment is officially over! Yay!!! Granted, she has to wear the "oven mitt" on her leg for a few more days to make sure she doesn't scratch until the skin is completely healed, but that's it. What a long month it has been. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the carcinoma is completely gone (one spot still feels a little bumpy), but it's been knocked way back. Hopefully, it won't flare up again and she'll live out her days with a little texture on her head.
