Astoria, Oregon - August 2008 - Fort Stevens State Park

Before heading home on our last day at the coast, we stopped at Fort Stevens State Park for a quick look around. It was very windy on the beach.

There is a great lookout platform at the northern end of the park.

You can see the mouth of the Columbia River as well as the Pacific Ocean and down the coast.
