For those who are still having trouble reconciling the whole idea, here's proof that I did shovel when it snowed last month:

That's Mr Moo with me in the last photo. I think he was going to give me some crap about inspecting my work, but he thought better of it once he realized I would probably have hit him in the head with the shovel.

I think he told you that you are supposed to clean off the car first then shovel

...still hard to think about that much snow in Portland... Vancouver, B.C. has had TONS of snow through December, and picked up another 2-4 inches this weekend... far cry from the usual mild weather and rain... the exceptionally cold Arctic air has finally shifted eastward here... and looks to stay milder this week...

mrs moo being from massachusetts shovels snow the boston way witch is you shovel car out then drive into street and clean off that way you don't pack snow down by walking on it. packed snow is harder to shovel then fresh fallen snow

ROBERT:
Actually, no, you clean the driveway first then clean off the car. If you walk on the snow, it packs and is impossible to shovel.

GORDO:
It's crazy, isn't it? People were losing their minds down here with all of the snow. And it's still early January. There's a lot more winter to come still.
