I picked up a new sewing job this morning. J is getting married on Halloween during a costume party. She and her husband-to-be are dressing up as Beauty and the Beast. She already has a yellow dress that will work perfectly with some modifications, which I will be doing. Her fiance, however, has nothing but the pants so I will be making a coat (blue velvet - kill me now), vest, shirt and cape for him. She also wants some fur pieces to attach to his hands and boots. I will be making Three Musketeer outfits for the three groomsmen and possibly a Sleeping Beauty gown for the sister of the groom. It doesn't look like much when I write it down, but it's going to be a LOT of work. Don't worry. I shall be posting lots of progress photos as I go.
