Dear God,

I don't ask for much from you. However, I need a big favor today. As you know, my dog has enough energy to run a nuclear power plant for about a week. If we don't get his afternoon walk in so he can burn off some of it, it's going to get all sorts of ugly up in here. Please. I'm begging you. Make it stop pouring for just a little while so we can go outside.
