I recently bough Oscar a new toy.

It's a Busy Buddy Twist N Treat. It's a small toy that drops treats as he plays with it. As with everything new to which we introduce him, he was afraid of it and we had to teach him how to play with it.

It took him a while to gain enough confidence to even approach the darn thing. It had a very strong plastic smell when I first opened it, which I'm sure didn't help. I ended up smearing a bit of peanut butter inside to get his interest. He really liked that. I then tried it with the cookies inside again. Once his little brain realized there was food coming out of it, he was all on board. He can now have all the cookies out in about 20 seconds. Time to get some bigger cookies so they don't fall out so easily.
