Yesterday, we took Oscar to Forest Park for a hike and some Geocaching. In the end, I think we did just under four miles of hiking. That's quite a lot for a dog whose legs are only 6" long. On the way to the second cache of the day, we came across a log which had fallen across the trail. The first time, Oscar leaped over it like a champion show horse. We tried to get him to do the same on the way back so I could get a photo, but, of course, he wasn't co-operative when I had the camera out. It wasn't nearly as graceful as the first time, but he still made it over with a bit of prompting.
