My MOG (mother of the groom) client picked up her dress tonight. Here is the pattern she originally brought me:

As you can see, we made some modifications. Since my client isn't 6' tall and 85 pounds soaking wet like the model on the pattern cover, we changed the design to make it more flattering for her size and shape. Among other things, we eliminated the gathers on the skirt so she didn't look so "poofy", dropped the hem to the floor to make her look taller, and cut down the size of the neckline ruffle so she didn't disappear behind it.
