I currently own three sewing machines and they are all Singers. I started out on a model 4622. It's a relatively basic machine (non-computerized), but it sews really well and I still use it on occasion. A few years ago, I decided I needed something a little more advanced so I bought a Quantum 9940, a computerized machine. Here is a photo of them side by side:

My third machine was given to me. It's a Featherweight that was found in the attic of my grandfather's house after he died. I don't know the model number off the top of my head. I had the electrical cord replaced when I got it home, but haven't really done much sewing on it. I need to take and post some photos of it.
