The "pond" behind our house isn't a pond in the truest sense of the word. It's a detention pond. It's a place where the water run-off from the streets of our neighborhood collects before slowly draining into the sewers. This is done to prevent the sewers from being overwhelmed when it rains heavily and reduces flooding. While we can get several feet of water in it when it rains heavily and steadily for several hours/days, that is rare. It almost never has any standing water in it. It does remain kind of mucky though so it's become overgrown with cattails.

I wasn't 100% sure what you meant by "garden". I have several beds all around my house, which makes it impossible to get them all in one shot. So, I took a picture of my (tiny) vegetable garden. Hope this is what you were hoping to see.
