In the highest sense, truth may not be a set of correct facts at all, but something so big I can't get my mind around it. It is simply a matter of faith. Pontious Pilate asked Jesus: Qui Veritas Est? "What is truth." Curiously: the anagram of that is: veri qui stas est - which translates to: "the man who is standing in front of you." Curious, eh?
Power in truth - having the understanding of what opportunities are right in front of you or how to achieve your goal/reward. Some people tell the truth to hurt other's feelings (usually in our families) or get them in trouble (like district attorneys and prosectution attorneys). In a sense, that is power, too. Power is the ability to obtain one's reward/what you want. Truth can give you a direct path to that - sort of like turning on the light in the garage - you don't trip over stuff getting to the car.

See you Thanksgiving Moo and Mr. Moo?
