Have you ever helped a total stranger? If so, how?

category: Blast from the Past

Mr Moo and I once saw an elderly man collapse with chest pains in his yard as we were driving by. We stopped, did what we could to make him as comfortable as possible and monitored his breathing until the paramedics arrived and took him away. We never found out if he was okay or not.

Having been a Vol Firefighter for 28 years 'Yes'.
I am still in contact with a father and daaughter we pulled out of a house fire 24 years ago. Mother and 3 other siblings did not make it. The fire was on New Years Eve 1980. I have relived that night many times over the years.

JOHN:
Firefighters are my heroes! It's unfortunate that not everyone made it, but you saved the lives of two people that night. That's the important thing.
